The "Elbehafen 1" was an icebreaker tugboat based in Brunsbüttel at the mouth of the Elbe into the North Sea, where she could carry out all the necessary towing and icebreaking services on the Elbe. With icebreaker bow, bow thruster and Kort nozzle, this tug was ideally equipped for all operations.
The model kit contains all the parts and materials required for construction. The lighting for the navigation lights and wheelhouse has also been included. The hull is built using the classic keel-frame technique and planked with mouldings. In addition to the illustrated building instructions, the kit also includes a parts list with instructions, both in German.
Tools, glue and paints are not included in the construction kit. If the model is built as a radio-controlled flying model, other accessories are required...
