The history of the battleship "SCHARNHORST" began with the launch on October 3rd, 1936 at the Kriegsmarine shipyard in Wilhelmshaven and the commissioning on January 7th, 1939. On December 26, 1943, the ship sank north of the North Cape after heavy fighting with British forces. The model, constructed according to shipyard documents, was built on a scale of 1:200 and is largely true to life. Since the finished plastic hull is included in the kit, the construction time is greatly reduced. The drive is either direct with three electric motors or via a gearbox. Installation instructions and gear drawing can be found in the additional plan. The hull dimensions allow the installation of single or multi-channel remote controls.
The model kit contains: Detailed building instructions with blueprints in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian, plastic hull, additional plan for removing the plastic hull, boat deck, rudder, wooden and cardboard parts, set of screws with shafts and stern tubes. SVÅRIGHETSGRAD 5/5
