The Clipper sailing boat is ideally suited for the beginning of ship model building. The simple construction of the hull takes place on the boat deck, on which the frames, the keel and the centreboard are simply attached and glued. The bottom of the fuselage and the side panels are made of thin plywood and are ready to be glued on. The boat can be operated without or with a remote control with a servo for the rudder. The ballast on the sword is made of round steel, so the usual lead is not used. With this model, the young model builder gets to know the frame construction and the basics of model sailing. This kit is so well prepared that no tools are required to build, the wooden parts are all stamped out and the aluminum tubes for the mast and booms are already cut to the correct length. The wire fittings are already bent and ready to be slid onto the aluminum tubes. The following tools are required: pins and adhesive tape. The kit contains all the wooden parts, fittings, oars, glue and detailed assembly instructions in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish required for construction.
